The CRC 33 Session

The 33rd Session of the Commission for Controlling the Desert Locust in the Central Region (CRC) in Kuwait from 24-28 November 2024 was convened to review progress in managing desert locusts across member countries, assess the current locust situation in the region, and discuss future strategic priorities. The session fostered a spirit of collaboration, bringing together national focal points, technical experts, and partners to evaluate the implementation of regional activities, including training, field operations, and emergency preparedness.
